Bogota, San Andres, and Cartagena: visit Colombia's capital and the best of the Caribbean

On your first day, we will pick you up at the airport to take you to the hotel of your choice. You will be able to relax during the ride, which lasts approximately 30 to 60 minutes while observing the distinctive landscape of Bogota. Remember that your accommodation is included in this tour, so you don't have to worry about paying for anything when you arrive.

Note: The rates are contemplated for daytime transfers. In the case of nighttime transfers a supplement applies. For departure transfers, the night schedule applies for flights between 23:00 and 9:00 hours, and for arrival transfers it applies for flights between 21:00 and 6:30 hours. 

We will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the famous Plaza de Bolivar, the heart of the city where you can find the most important political and religious buildings of the country, such as the Cathedral, the Palace of Lievano (seat of the mayor of the city), the Palace of Justice and the National Capitol with the Palace of Nariño, headquarters of the congress and where the Colombian president lives permanently.You will also visit the Museo del Oro (Gold Museum), which exhibits the world's largest collection of pre-Hispanic gold pieces, and the Casa Museo Quinta de Bolivar, a museum of great cultural value and a significant place in the history of Colombia and its neighboring countries. At the end of the day, you will climb to an altitude of 3152 meters to the top of the Cerro de Monserrate, which is considered a mandatory stop for all visitors to Bogota, for its great ecological, religious, and gastronomic importance. After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel, or you can stay downtown to continue exploring the city. 

Notes:

• The Gold Museum and Casa Museo Quinta de Bolivar are closed every Monday, so we will visit the Botero Museum and the Casa de la Moneda Museum instead. 
• On Sundays, the tour to Monserrate operates subject to availability and upon request.
• Duration: 5 hours approximately. 
• Regular operation: The regular service operates from Monday to Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. approximately. The private service can be scheduled at 9:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.

Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport as scheduled to take a flight to San Andrés. Arrival at the island of the sea of 7 colors. Reception by one of a representative and transfer in public service taxis on the island from the airport to the hotel of your choice overnight.

• The purchase of a Tourism card, approximately 40 USD per person, it is necessary to enter the Island. (It must be paid in Colombian pesos.)
• According to the regulations of the Island's Governorship, airport transfer services must be exclusively provided by local taxis as a source of income for the natives. The service includes assistance from our staff, boarding taxis, and the cost of the service
• For arrival transfers, the night schedule applies to flights between 21:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Breakfast. A representative will be waiting for you to start a tour around the island of San Andrés where you will be able to admire the most touristic sites of this destination in the Colombian Caribbean, an approximate stop of 20 minutes is made at Cueva de Morgan, a site where, according to legend, the English buccaneer Henry Morgan hid some of the treasure he stole from Spanish galleons. We continue our journey to the Natural Sea Pool in West View where you can take a bath in the enchanting sea of 7 colors with an approximate time of 15 minutes. During the circuit we also stop at the Blowing Hole, it is located at the southern tip of the Island. It is a natural phenomenon produced by a series of underground tunnels that begin in the coral reefs and end in a single hole several meters from the sea. Water. When the tide rises and a wave manages to enter these tunnels with force, it throws the compressed air down the hole, ending with the beautiful and charming beaches of San Luis, characterized by their white sand and the contrasting landscape of their blue sea.

In this tour the visit begins with the Islet of Johnny Cay, a key with crystal clear waters, surrounded by palm trees where you can enjoy the beach and the contrast of the seven colors of the sea, the tour continues with the visit to Cayo Acuario, where visitors can enjoy the view of colorful fish and manta rays, in this place also called Rose Cay it seems that walking on water is possible, then they will go to the internal bay where they can observe the crystal clear water and the sea of 7 colors , the visit will continue with a tour of the Old Point mangroves where you will appreciate the rich marine fauna and flora that this paradisiacal island of the Colombian Caribbean houses.

After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel. We will start our tour in the Bocagrande neighborhood to appreciate the modern side of the city, where buildings and skyscrapers rise along the seashore. This is an important commercial and tourist area with a great selection of hotels, luxury boutiques, and high-end restaurants. It also has beautiful beaches that invite you to enjoy the sand and the sea. Then, we will arrive at the Manga neighborhood, a contrast between splendid mansions dating from the colony age and impressive modern buildings. You will admire the Fort of San Sebastian del Pastelillo, the Port of Cartagena, and the Tourist Pier. We will continue with one of the city´s jewels: Castillo de San Felipe, a fortress built by Spanish explorers to defend themselves against pirates and English invaders in the seventeenth century. From the top of San Lázaro hill, this magnificent construction holds endless stories you can learn about through its walls and tunnels. Then, we will arrive at the historic downtown, home to cobblestone streets, superbly preserved colonial houses, picturesque balconies, and traditional patios. You will enjoy a walk through Plaza Santo Domingo, Torre del Reloj (Clock Tower), and the enchanting Getsemani neighborhood. Our last stop will be the Emerald Museum. After finishing the tour, we will take you back to your hotel, or you can stay downtown to continue exploring the city.

Breakfast. Leaving La Bodeguita Pier by speedboat to the chosen island, there you can enjoy the coral beaches and a variety of reef fauna, ideal for resting or taking some optional activities such as diving, snorkeling, and hiking, among others. Below you can find the details of each island:

San Pedro de Majagua: Located on Isla Grande, 45km from the city of Cartagena, it is part of the 31 islands that make up the Rosario National Natural Park; After an hour of crossing in a speedboat you will arrive at this magical place of rest and relaxation that offers two accesses to the sea, one a little quieter and noiseless than the other according to your preference. While there, you can take optional activities such as relaxing massages, walks, mangrove tours, visiting the Aquarium, diving, snorkeling, among others.

Includes: Transfer Hotel-Pier-hotel, Transfer in a regular boat (non-exclusive), welcome cocktail, lunch (starters, main course, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages.) and pier tax.

Not include: optional activities, unspecified consumption.

Operation: Every day except January 1 of each year.

Duration: 6 hrs. and half approximately - Shared service

Notes: Passengers must appear at the La Bodeguita pier no later than 08:30 a.m. at gate #3 to complete the boarding registration protocol. The usual return from the Island to Cartagena is at 15:00 p.m. (depending on weather conditions, the departure may vary at approximately 14:30 p.m.).

Restrictions: Excursion not allowed for pregnant women or people with spinal problems or surgeries because to the movements of the boat. Pets and people in a state of intoxication are not allowed access to the boats.

Isla del Encanto: In the Islas del Rosario national park, located approximately 45 minutes by boat from Cartagena, you can enjoy the beach and social spaces designated for Day Tour visitors that have chairs, lounge chairs, and sun loungers; also, you can do optional activities if you want or just enjoy the Colombian Caribbean Sea in this area. During the day you will enjoy a typical semi buffet lunch served with options of fish, chicken, and meat.

Not include: Transfer hotel - pier - hotel (If you are staying in hotels in the Bocagrande area, Historical Center or North Area, the hotel offers you a complimentary transfer to the pier, the return to the pier - hotel it’s on your own.
