Reception and transfer from the International Airport of Bogotá to the hotel of your choice. Overnight.

Notes: For arrivals transfers, the night schedule applies for flights between 21:00pm and 06:00am. Rates are contemplated for daytime transfers. If there are nighttime transfers a supplement applies.

Breakfast. A staff member from the company will meet you at the hotel to take you on a tour around the historic center of the city. The first stop will be at Plaza de Bolivar to walk along the streets and take a close look of the most important buildings of the city, such as the National Capitol, which is the center of the country's legislative life; Casa de los Comuneros; Casa de Nariño, which is the Presidential house; and the Santa Clara Church Museum.

The tour includes a visit to the Gold Museum, which exhibits about 34,000 pieces of metalwork from various Hispanic cultures and if time permits, a tour will be made to the Casa de la Moneda Museum. The tour continues to the iconic symbol of Bogota, the Monserrate Hill rising up to 3,152 above sea level, to visit the sanctuary where you will find the statue of the Lord of Miracles. From there it is possible to enjoy the best view of Bogota.

Duration: About 05 hours approximately.

Operation: The regular service operates from Monday to Saturday starts at 8:00 Hrs. For the private service it can be scheduled at 09:00 or 14:00 hrs.

Note: 

• Gold museum and Quinta de Bolívar are closed on Mondays, instead we visit Museo de Botero and Museo Casa de la Moneda. 

• The Casa de la Moneda Museum is closed on Tuesdays.

• On Sunday, this tour operates subject to availability and upon request.

Early in the morning, meet with a representative at El Dorado airport in Bogotá; you should be there by 05:00 hours. Flight from Bogotá to La Macarena (approximately 1 hour flight / Includes ticket). Upon arrival in La Macarena, you will be received by guides and given an induction talk by local environmental authorities (National Parks and Cormacarena). Subsequently, transfer to the corresponding hotel where a room will be assigned for changing clothes and storing luggage. Then, depart to visit an alternative location to Caño Cristales, which is assigned by environmental authorities. Here, you will have your first encounter with nature and the crystal-clear waters of the area. Lunchtime during the activity, and at the end, return to the urban area of La Macarena with the same protocol as the outbound journey. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, and accommodation.

Notes: The alternative location to visit will be assigned by local authorities depending on the carrying capacity, physical conditions of the travelers, and will be one of the following places: (Caño Cristalitos, Caño Piedra, El Mirador, or Río Bajo Lozada).

Breakfast. Departure in the morning according to the schedule indicated by environmental authorities. The journey will begin by boarding a boat that will sail for approximately 20 minutes on the waters of the Guayabero River while enjoying the landscape. Once you reach the disembarkation point, a 4X4 vehicle will take you to the Cajuche Spring in a journey of approximately 20 minutes, through an unpaved road surrounded by exotic vegetation. Then, you will start a walk along one of the trails previously designated by environmental authorities according to the permit, carrying capacity, and physical conditions of the visitors. Along the trail, you will border Caño Cristales, a magical and unique place in the world where nature exhibits its incredible beauty in the so-called "River of Five Colors." This effect is the result of the transparent and pure waters of the river that reveal various colors due to aquatic algae that flourish there during a specific time of the year (June to November). During the journey, a place and time will be designated for a typical lunch, which is delivered to each visitor at the beginning of the day wrapped in banana leaves (Fiambre type). Finally, return from Caño Cristales to the town of La Macarena with the same protocol as the outbound journey. In the evening, there will be an integration and cultural exchange event in the traditional "Parrandon llanero," where you will enjoy a folkloric and gastronomic display of the region. Accommodation.

Notes: Authorities only allow walking one trail per day. The trails are natural, without demarcation, and during the journey, visitors will appreciate different locations formed by the river. Depending on the trail, there will be bathing areas, observation areas to appreciate the 5 colors of the river, crystal-clear water areas, waterfalls, and their lush waterfalls.

Breakfast. In the morning, departure to Caño Cristales, covering the routes by boat and 4X4 vehicle in the same way as on day 2 of the itinerary. Once you reach Caño Cristales, you will walk a different trail than the previous day, with different natural scenarios, which will be assigned in advance by environmental authorities according to the granted permit, carrying capacity, and physical conditions of the visitors. At the agreed-upon time, return to La Macarena with the same protocol as on the outbound journey. Time for lunch in the municipality and transfer to the airport to take a flight to Medellín between 12:00 and 17:00 hrs. Arrival in Medellín and end of our services.

Notes: 

• Different places are visited each day; authorities never assign the same trail twice.

• If traveling on a weekend that is a public holiday (*See holidays dates in general notes) on this last day (day 3), Caño Cristales cannot be visited due to regulations from environmental entities, and one of the alternate locations will be visited.

Breakfast. At the agreed time, meeting in the hotel lobby with one of our representatives who will guide us to the east of the department. During the tour we will pass through the town of Marinilla, followed by the municipality of El Peñol, which in its history keeps the premeditated flood in 1970 to build the hydroelectric complex being currently a dam of energy importance for Colombia, famous for its boardwalk with attractive green areas, we will also visit the real replica of the Old Peñol, which revives the most emblematic sites before its flooding. Later we will arrive at ""La Piedra del Peñol"" monolith 220 meters high with 740 steps inserted until we reach its top. We conclude our day's itinerary visiting the beautiful municipality of Guatapé, one of the most colorful towns of Antioquia: called ""Town of Zócalos"", where you can appreciate the facades of the twentieth century colorful houses, adorned with sockets as a symbol of the customs and trades of its inhabitants. Finally, we will return to your hotel.

At the agreed time, meet in the hotel lobby with our transportation provider who will take you to the San Javier neighborhood where you will meet the local guide to begin a captivating tour in one of the city's main attractions, executed by local street artists. Experience hip-hop culture, its music, and its dances. Be amazed by the walls turned into canvases, telling stories of resilience and transformation in Medellín's Comuna 13. Focused on its walls and graffiti, we will learn about the stories that move and inspire the search for better living conditions for the community. They will also narrate stories of inequity and violence that marked the commune, witnessing its transformation through social inclusion. Additionally, you can enjoy and immerse yourself in graffiti culture with an interactive workshop full of colors where you will learn a bit about the technique used for painting or graffiti. During this time, each participant will customize to their liking, imagination, and skill a beautiful cap, a personalized item that you can take as a lovely and original souvenir of Comuna 13. At the end of the tour, the transportation provider will return you to your hotel.

• You must be 15 minutes before the scheduled time in the hotel lobby and consider a waiting time of 20 to 30 minutes; if your hotel is in the Laureles - Estadio sector, you will be called 30 minutes before.

• Does not include accompanying guide during transfers from the hotel to the commune and return.

• The tour only applies to hotels in the Poblado and Laureles areas.

Breakfast at the Hotel. At the indicated time, transfer from the hotel to the José María Córdoba airport for your flight to Matecaña airport in Pereira. (air ticket not included). Arrival at Matecaña Airport in Pereira, reception, and transfer to the town of Villamaria (Caldas) for 4hrs, there you will take the “Teleférico” to Glamping El Nido del Cóndor. Accommodation and Dinner.

Notes: 

• It is important that the flight arrive to Pereira before 11:00 hrs, since the journey to Nido del Cóndor is approximately 4 hours, and the “Teleférico” just operate until 15:30 hrs.

• For departure transfers the nigh schedule applies for flights between 23:00 and 09:00. Rates are contemplated for daytime transfers. For nights transfer a supplement applies.

Free day to enjoy the area. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. On this day, you can independently enjoy activities such as hiking, cycling, bird watching, and have the privilege of observing the pair of condors leaving their nest and flying over your tents. At night, you can stargaze and enjoy a campfire. Accommodation.

Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer by the “Teleférico” until you reach Villamaria, then transfer to the airport and take a flight to Cartagena de Indias. (Air ticket not included). Arrival in Cartagena, also known as the “Corralito de Piedra,” reception and transfer from the Rafael Núñez Airport in Cartagena to the chosen hotel. Check-in and accommodation. 

Notes: It is important that the departure flight is schedule after 14:00am, since the journey to the Matecaña airport is approximately 4hrs, and the domestic flights it is necessary to be at the airport 2 hours before. 

For departure transfers, night transfers apply between 23:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. And for arrival transfers to Cartagena, it applies to flights between 21:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The rates are contemplated for daytime transfers, if night transfers a supplement applies (consult with your advisor).

Breakfast. You will meet one of our representatives at your hotel to begin a panoramic tour of Cartagena de Indias at the agreed time to begin a wonderful tour of this museum city whose streets and surroundings show the charm of its architecture colonial, republican and modern. During the circuit, you will pass through the modern area of Bocagrande and the Manga neighborhood, where the contrast between the republican architecture and its modern buildings will surprise you. Then you will visit the Castle of San Felipe de Barajas, that it was built in 1657, with which the Spanish sought to defend themselves from English attacks in the seventeenth century; And of course, it will be unmissable to take a brief walk through “the historic center of the city” which in 1984, together with the San Felipe Castle and the set of fortifications, were included by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage Sites. To end the tour and before returning to your hotel, taking advantage of your stay in the country that produces the highest quality emeralds in the world, you will visit the Emerald Museum, there you will learn about the evolution of the rarest, most valuable mineral and, at the same time, the most exclusive in the world.

Isla del Encanto:

In the Islas del Rosario national park, located approximately 45 minutes by boat from Cartagena, you can enjoy the beach and social spaces designated for Day Tour visitors that have chairs, lounge chairs, and sun loungers; also, you can do optional activities if you want or just enjoy the Colombian Caribbean Sea in this area. During the day you will enjoy a typical semi buffet lunch served with options of fish, chicken, and meat.

Includes: Shared boat transfer Cartagena- Isla del Encanto –Cartagena (non-exclusive), lunch Parrillada Buffet (including a non-alcoholic drink.)

Not include: Transfer hotel - pier - hotel (If you are staying in hotels in the Bocagrande area, Historical Center or Nort Area, the hotel offers you a complimentary transfer to the pier, the return to the pier - hotel it’s on your own. It’s not included pier tax (Approx. USD 7.00), optional activities, consumption not mentioned, towel service (it is suggested to bring from Cartagena).

Notes: Passengers must appear at the La Bodeguita pier no later than 08:15 hrs, the usual return from the Island to Cartagena is at 15:00 hrs. (depending on weather conditions, the departure may vary at approximately 14:30 hrs).

Restrictions: Excursion not allowed for pregnant women or people with spinal problems or surgeries because to the movements of the boat. Pets and people in a state of intoxication are not allowed access to the boats.
