Cartagena and Rosario Island

Arrival in Cartagena, also known as the "Corralito de Piedra" (Stone Yard), reception, and transfer from Rafael Núñez Airport to the selected hotel. Check-in and accommodation.

Breakfast. At the agreed-upon time, meet with one of our representatives in the hotel lobby to begin a wonderful tour of this museum city, whose streets and surroundings showcase the charm of its architecture, blending colonial, republican, and modern styles. During the tour, you'll pass through the modern Bocagrande district and continue through the Manga neighborhood, where the contrast between the republican architecture and its modern buildings will amaze you. You'll then visit the emblematic San Felipe de Barajas Castle, built in 1657. Of course, a short walk through the "historic city center," which, along with San Felipe Castle and the complex of fortifications, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984, will be a must. To conclude the tour and before returning to your hotel, taking advantage of your stay in the country that produces the world's highest-quality emeralds, you'll visit the Emerald Museum. There, you'll learn about the evolution of the rarest, most valuable, and most exclusive mineral in the world.

Breakfast, return by boat to Cartagena, welcome at the pier, and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cartagena.

Notes: The usual return from San Pedro de Majagua Island to Cartagena is at 3:00 p.m. Depending on weather conditions, the departure time may vary by approximately 2:30 p.m. Any changes to this information will be issued by the Captaincy.

Breakfast. On your last day of travel before returning, make sure you pack the best souvenirs. At the scheduled time, transfer from your hotel to the Cartagena airport for your flight to your home city.
