DAY 1 Welcome to Cali
Welcome to the city known as ‘the branch office of heaven’. On your first day, we will pick you up at the airport to take you to the hotel of your choice. You will be able to relax during the ride, which lasts approximately 40 to 60 minutes while observing the impressive landscape of Cali. Remember that your accommodation is included in this tour, so you don't have to worry about paying for anything when you arrive.
DAY 2 From the historic downtown to the beat of salsa dancing
We will pick you up at your hotel to start our downtown tour, a historical journey into the culture and heritage that shaped the city in its origins. We will immerse ourselves in the characteristic colonial architecture of the Plaza de Caicedo, the Catedral San Pedro Apostol, the Church of San Francisco, and the Church of La Merced. You will admire a breathtaking panoramic view from the monument of Sebastian de Belalcazar and the Cristo Rey statue, where you can also enjoy the best of local cuisine and traditional handicrafts. Then you will visit the Las Novias del Gato (cat’s girlfriends) monument, a set of urban art sculptures along the river.
DAY 3 A literary journey through sugarcane fields
We will pick you up at your hotel to start our tour and immerse ourselves in the landscapes that inspired Jorge Isaacs to create fictional characters Efrain and Maria, protagonists of the emblematic literary novel "Maria". Located in the middle of the mountains, Hacienda El Paraiso welcomes us with beautiful views of rose plantations, sugar cane plants, and giant saman trees. We will also appreciate traditional 19th-century architecture by walking through houses with balconies, colorful roofs, and picturesque gardens.
DAY 4 See you soon, Cali
